Growing love!

We grow in love and love really makes us grow. We must never assume that we have already understood everything, we should not believe that we cannot get higher In the common imagination we think of love as a path of growth that reaches its peak when the two lovers unite in the bond of marriage, and then begin an inexorable path of descent that often has the traits of habituality, repetitiveness and even boredom. How many times have we heard that “marriage is the tomb of love”! These are clichés which, however, conceal a depth of truth in the sense that this can happen, indeed... it often happens. The risk and temptation behind every life choice is to think of having arrived and being able to live on income. It applies to the newlyweds, but it also applies to priests and religious.
