You are always with me

When a person is important to me, when I am in love with them, it is normal for him/her to live my thoughts even when we are far away; my eyes shine with joy from the experience of feeling loved and loving. The physical distance of two lovers is not a problem because the loved one is always with me, indeed within me. Even when the newlyweds are experiencing a difficult moment, the same thing happens: even in the distance, what I am feeling lives in me and does not abandon me. Something very similar is experienced by the consecrated people in religious life: they made a choice of love and their days are constantly spent in the presence of the Beloved. It is not a question of remembering at every moment those you love or doing things for them, but feeling and living as a married or consecrated person.
