Let’s fill our present with the future

Looking to the future seems the simplest and most possible thing. It is in everyone’s hearts. Within everyone’s reach. All it takes is good news. The gaze of a child. The smile of the right person. A sunrise that surprises. A sunset that brings peace at the end of a difficult day. And it’s daylight immediately, or rather tomorrow. Raise your head. This is what the stargazer does. Then, he starts walking, looking for his own star, and dreaming of reaching it. And that long, high, deep look transforms everything. It makes light. So every little fragment of oneself and one’s own today is translated into thoughts, into acknowledgements, and finally, necessarily, into small steps, into concrete choices, into demanding involvement: all oriented to make the dream true and possible.
