At the school of prayer

I remember that some years ago some dioceses organized “schools of prayers”. For us, the young, they were very important moments to share with the others and to meet God trough meditation and reading the Holy Scriptures. Nowadays it seems that they are not “trendy” any more... What do you think about it?

I belong to the post Vatican II generation and I lived the experience that you speak about. I do not know if the schools of prayer are not “trendy” any more but it seems that different kinds of devotion are spreading among the faithful who attend the parishes or belong to different movements. On the path that the Church started in the past few weeks thanks to Pope Francis, it would be beautiful to propose again these moments for listening to our Lord’s word through the Holy Scriptures contemplating His merciful and joyful image.
