‘Christ, our paschal lamb, has been sacrificed:
let us rejoice in the Lord’
(Cf. 1 Cor 5:7-8)
In the midst of the darkness that still envelops humanity, a radiant light illuminates and gives life to all things: it is the Resurrection of the Lord. In the annual commemoration of this event of faith, hope is rekindled for our world and for each one of us.
In the Risen One, we find certainty and consolation that evil and wickedness have been overcome. Everyone can renew their trust in life and strive for eternal joy.
The Universal Association of Saint Anthony extends its wishes for hope and peace to all of you—friends, benefactors, supporters and devotees of the Saint. Our patron addresses this invocation to us:
May He who rose from the dead grant us all this: to Him be honor and glory, dominion and power in heaven and on earth for ever and ever. And may every believer exclaim on this day of Easter joy: 'Amen, Alleluia!
